Questions people actually ask
Why is the output an MP4 and not a MOV?
MP4 (H.264 + AAC) plays everywhere — Discord, email, Windows, Android — while MOV can be finicky off Apple devices. The video content is the same; only the container changes.
Will it keep the original quality?
It keeps as much as the target size allows. MOV files usually carry far more bitrate than needed, so you can cut most of the size before any change is visible.
