What's actually different between these pages?
The target size and the answers, not the compressor. Every page runs the same WebCodecs encoder in the same tab — it just arrives with the right number already selected (10 MB on the Discord page, 25 MB on the email one) and answers the questions that particular limit raises. If nothing here matches, use any page and type your own number.
My platform isn't listed. Which page do I use?
Find its limit and pick the size page at or just under it — most caps land on 8, 10, 16, 25, 50 or 100 MB. Leave yourself a little headroom: email in particular inflates attachments by about a third in transit, so a 25 MB file travels as roughly 33 MB.
Does any of this upload my video?
No — not on any page here. Compression runs on your own machine using your browser's built-in video encoder, so the file is read from disk into memory and never sent over the network. We log anonymous stats like file sizes and which preset you picked, never file contents or names.
